Manoj Tandi's Testimony

 Greetings Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ! 

I'm Pastor Manoj Tandi from Kalahandi district, Odisha state, India. I was born and brought up in a Christian family, but my grandfather was a Hindu. When my father was a small child, my grandfather died. Being financially poor, my Grandmother sent my father to a Christian orphanage. 

My father accepted Jesus Christ in that orphanage, and after his 10th standard year of education, he returned home and married in 1988. My father is also very poor; and I was born on 13th January 1991, and raised in a Christian family.  We did not have resources to study in our home, so at the age of 10, my father and I went to study at a Christian orphanage, ourselves. There I accepted Jesus, and began praying and reading the Bibles there.

After my 10th standard, I returned home, and I met one of my uncles, who is a Pastor. He started taking me along wherever and whenever he went to preach. As a young boy, I went with him, and helped by carrying his bags and Bibles. I was very glad to be doing this, and loved going with him. We traveled to many villages to share the Gospel.  I listened to my uncle preach,  and one day, when my uncle was sharing the Gospel,  I was listening and I thought, “I should also share the message to others.” From that day on, I started sharing the message, with the help of the Holy Spirit.  I was 18. 

That started my journey to share the Gospel. During my study time, I studied +2 (intermediate,) then joined the Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011. During the study time I was also going to other villages to share the Gospel, whenever could make the time.  In 2016, after my secular study, I joined in a Bible School here in our area to study the Word of God, and I came to the ministry fulltime in August of 2018. From that day on, I have been sharing the Gospel by going to many other villages, and work as a Pastor in our village, with 20 to 30 believers attending our services. 

In the year 2020, we registered a Ministry called Hope of Glory Ministries India, to work more for the Kingdom Of God. We began with a group of 6 people, started the ministry and registered with the government of India. Now we have many more Pastors that travel to other villages!

We also started a Children's Center here. We help feed, educate, and meet the needs of our local needy children.  I know how a poor child suffers without studying!

We work daily for the Kingdom of God, depending upon Him for all of our resources. I believe God is our provider. He sends us people to help.

We need your prayers for our ministry, especially for our Children's Center, as we have 40 children that depend on us for food, education, and love.
